GromY SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Obuchowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Karp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wincent Budrewicz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jerzy Karp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Bierfass, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Wladyslaw Czaplicki charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of GromY SA booed when Byala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Poreda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as GromY SA's Leszek Bierfass slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerzy Karp. That made the score 0-5 after 62 minutes of play. Byala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Dominik Obuchowicz scored to the left of an out of position Jerzy Karp, making the score, 0-6. Dominik Obuchowicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jerzy Karp could save by the left post. In the 71st minute Wincent Budrewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Karp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Korneliusz Dresik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Dominik Obuchowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerzy Karp. Byala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominik Obuchowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Jerzy Karp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tymoteusz Wietrzychowski in the 78th minute.
