In the 4th minute Benedykt Grabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Erdélyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Bienienda in the 5th minute of play. András Erdélyi made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Benedykt Grabski sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th match minute, Mszczyczyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwan Duszenski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, KP Brzeg Dolny's Radomir Zdrojowy got a free kick in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Beniamin Bienienda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoni Piesciuk. KP Brzeg Dolny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beniamin Bienienda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, KP Brzeg Dolny's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Falcon came free, but Antoni Piesciuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamin Bienienda in the 23rd minute of play forced KP Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Antoni Piesciuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Mszczyczyn got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Wolniewicz. András Erdélyi made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Stuart Armstrong sent off a good shot on target. Antoni Piesciuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beniamin Bienienda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Mszczyczyn were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beniamin Bienienda to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, KP Brzeg Dolny's Baycan Tura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that András Erdélyi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Beniamin Bienienda had to leave the field with a concussion. 54 minutes into the game, Izydor Pyczkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KP Brzeg Dolny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mszczyczyn the free kick. In the 55th minute, Izydor Pyczkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to KP Brzeg Dolny getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Radomir Zdrojowy hit a great ball. Dobromir Mis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Antoni Piesciuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mszczyczyn getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sinan Maruf hit a great ball. Benedykt Grabski might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over András Erdélyi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedykt Grabski ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 66 minutes, Stuart Armstrong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KP Brzeg Dolny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stuart Armstrong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dobromir Mis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Piesciuk having to interfere. Antoni Piesciuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiusz Karp in the 77th minute. A collision led to KP Brzeg Dolny getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Izydor Pyczkowski hit a great ball. KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save KP Brzeg Dolny from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Radomir Zdrojowy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. András Erdélyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 87 played minutes Mszczyczyn got a freekick which was hit by Bennvar Falcon. KP Brzeg Dolny's Baycan Tura got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
