Jan Motyl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Puszynski in the 12th minute of play. When Roger Temiño fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Hołdunów's protests and gave Roger Temiño a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Roger Temiño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Motyl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Sniegowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Hołdunów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfred Piatek was slow to take the kick. During this time Ups...'s players had a chance to rest. 23 minutes into the game, Andrzej Puszynski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kajetan Dawiec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan Motyl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Sniegowski in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Hołdunów's goalkeeper Jan Motyl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ups... were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Black Hołdunów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfred Piatek took the corner. The corner led to Ups...'s Gustaw Cisek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janusz Sanocki got free with Kajetan Dawiec in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Black Hołdunów's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Sniegowski came free, but Jan Motyl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Waselewicz in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Tanek Sniegowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ups...'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanek Sniegowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Sanocki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ups...'s Kajetan Dawiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Waselewicz in the 53rd minute of play. Tanek Sniegowski took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Motyl. Jan Motyl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jan Motyl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Sniegowski in the 60th minute of play. Kajetan Dawiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Puszynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Tanek Sniegowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jan Motyl made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Ups...'s goal looked a bit too open when Edward Chazen came free, but Kajetan Dawiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Dawiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Chazen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Black Hołdunów's Jan Motyl got control of the ball when Tanek Sniegowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Tanek Sniegowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ups...'s Herbert Pilipiec was substituted for Borys Rydzewski. Black Hołdunów made a substitution. Olgierd Wojtowicz replaced Janusz Sanocki. Ups... were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Black Hołdunów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfred Piatek took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Klement Madej got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Motyl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Wojtowicz in the 82nd minute of play forced Ups...'s goalkeeper Kajetan Dawiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Dawiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Chazen in the 88th minute of the match. Jan Motyl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bo Kac showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. Although Black Hołdunów had been in control for most of the match, Ups... still came away with the win.
