The supporters of Varsovia booed when FC Borówiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Brzakala didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Niemojewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Enzo Zidane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Antoni Poremba made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Zidane got free with Antoni Poremba in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
