Arkadiusz Piatek might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grzegorz Czapski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkadiusz Piatek ran back to his position shaking his head. Grzegorz Czapski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Piatek in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Motowski in the 11th minute of play forced AS Monaco FC's goalkeeper Miromir Wojton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartlomiej Sniegowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Czapski having to interfere. Miromir Wojton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Motowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Vourlis got free with Miromir Wojton in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aarre Rautee to make the kick off. After 68 played minutes, Wittbach SSA's Millan Matas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miromir Wojton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wittbach SSA reached it. Arkadiusz Piatek might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grzegorz Czapski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkadiusz Piatek ran back to his position shaking his head. If Arkadiusz Piatek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Wittbach SSA booed when AS Monaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jagan Van Landschoot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wittbach SSA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
