After a defensive mix-up in Gwarek Zabrze's zone, Wiktor Filipkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Łukasz Fabiański came out of the goal and Wiktor Filipkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiktor Filipkowski hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richie Puch was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Gwarek Zabrze defense, Virgiliu Doroftei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. The Gwarek Zabrze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Łukasz Fabiański should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sielce Warszawa had won after a very even match.
