Filipe Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandez Pizaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Remigiusz Galagan got a free kick in the 51st minute. Fernandez Pizaño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 95th minute, one of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TEATRomaniacy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
