Spectators: 8416 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) KS Piast Cieszyn's Boguslaw Furgat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Bartlomiej Adamus could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Maciej Wieck however easily saved by the left post. After 7 minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pacho Maldini who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Grzegorz Witwicki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maciej Wieck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maciej Wieck made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Grzegorz Witwicki sent off a good shot on target. After 15 played minutes KS Piast Cieszyn got a freekick which was hit by Luís Pitta. Maciej Wieck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartlomiej Adamus in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Manuel Şoimu threw the ball into play from the sideline. KS Piast Cieszyn's Luís Pitta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Boguslaw Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Pilitowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute Gwidon Pilitowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute KS Piast Cieszyn were awarded a corner. Pacho Maldini went to the cornerflag to take it. After 35 minutes of play, KS Piast Cieszyn's Bartlomiej Adamus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maciej Wieck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boguslaw Kaczanek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Pilitowski in the 38th minute of the match. Boguslaw Furgat struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Maciej Wieck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Piast Cieszyn. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's attentive Manuel Şoimu managed to snatch the ball when Luís Pitta made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristopher de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Bartlomiej Adamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Adamus came free, but Maciej Wieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Maciej Wieck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Adamus in the 58th minute of play. KS Piast Cieszyn were furious when Pavlos Vasakis was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Boguslaw Kaczanek, was totally fooled by Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Sixten Gernberg, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Maciej Wieck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Pitta in the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Furgat came free, but Maciej Wieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristopher de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, KS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Cristopher de Alcântara came free, but Boguslaw Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, KS Piast Cieszyn's Óli Turek got a free kick in the 77th minute. Zawisza Bydgoszcz made a substitution. Răzvan Brădean replaced Cristopher de Alcântara. Óli Turek hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Maciej Wieck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Furgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, KS Piast Cieszyn's Bartlomiej Adamus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maciej Wieck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Răzvan Brădean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Kaczanek having to interfere. Luís Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Maciej Wieck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of KS Piast Cieszyn booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Witek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maciej Wieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Răzvan Brădean made a precise shot to the right of Boguslaw Kaczanek. KS Piast Cieszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Chants of Zawisza Bydgoszcz echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as KS Piast Cieszyn had held the ball for most of the match.
