Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darko Pančev in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Panda Komando came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vincent Van Gogh came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Van Gogh couldn't finish the play. If Conrado Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Panda Komando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastião Xoxe, 1-0. 42 minutes into the match, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Darko Pančev came free, but Filipe Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 59th minute, Radoslaw Gruchacz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pogoń Szczecin getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Norbert Major hit a great ball. Vincent Van Gogh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Xoxe having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Darko Pančev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Filipe Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Vincent Van Gogh suffered a sore thigh after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Norbert Major fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pogoń Szczecin's protests and gave Norbert Major a yellow card for diving instead. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Juliusz Kowalski was substituted for Vincent Van Gogh. The supporters of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Major didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darko Pančev, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
