An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Fikus in the 3rd minute of play forced KS Piast Cieszyn's goalkeeper Boguslaw Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Boguslaw Furgat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Dres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Furgat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Dres. ZIELONE LUDKI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boguslaw Furgat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Boguslaw Furgats short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Edgar Dres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 13th minute of the match KS Piast Cieszyn got a corner. ZIELONE LUDKI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pacho Maldini ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of ZIELONE LUDKI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KS Piast Cieszyn:s goal. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, KS Piast Cieszyn's Boguslaw Furgat got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edgar Dres. ZIELONE LUDKI's Edgar Dres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save ZIELONE LUDKI from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute of the match KS Piast Cieszyn got a corner. ZIELONE LUDKI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pacho Maldini ran over to the corner to take the kick. Óli Turek hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Piotr Lato fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Piast Cieszyn's protests and gave Piotr Lato a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Piotr Lato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Dres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Furgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boguslaw Kaczanek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelius Baxter went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, ZIELONE LUDKI's Edgar Dres got control of the ball when Bartlomiej Adamus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Dres was a little too slow when Bartlomiej Adamus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boguslaw Furgat to make the kick off. Boguslaw Furgat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edgar Dres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Dres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Furgat, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cornelius Baxter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KS Piast Cieszyn's Andrzej Gierasik was substituted for Bartlomiej Adamus. KS Piast Cieszyn's Grzegorz Witwicki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vasco Bento in the 64 minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Grzegorz Witwicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Piast Cieszyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Edgar Dres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Furgat, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Andrzej Gierasik scored 5-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Dres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KS Piast Cieszyn's Boguslaw Kaczanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Fikus in the 76th minute of play. Edgar Dres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Furgat in the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Boguslaw Furgat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Dres was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Boguslaw Kaczanek made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Antoni Fikus sent off a good shot on target. Boguslaw Furgat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelius Baxter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Boguslaw Kaczanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KS Piast Cieszyn fully deserved thier win.
