In the 20th minute of the match KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ got a corner. GKS Milenium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Milenium the free kick. After a rather tough play, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Niculae Ghionea got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstanty Sienkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 86th minute, Ale Glowacz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konstanty Kolbert. When Ale Glowacz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ale Glowacz couldn't finish the play. Przemyslaw Moryl's late challenge caught a GKS Milenium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Przemyslaw Moryl helped the player get up and apologised. Jan Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstanty Sienkowski in the 91st minute of the match.
