The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dandung Garmana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Lapadula in the 6th minute of the match. Dobromir Piechocki took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Dudek. Jerzy Dudek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Piechocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christopher Low had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dandung Garmana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Lapadula's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th match minute, KS Bukowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Zgonina to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, EL Ciulos Lamos's Dobromir Piechocki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerzy Dudek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. EL Ciulos Lamos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christopher Low in the 31st minute. Napoleon Szel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobromir Piechocki was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match KS Bukowe got a corner. EL Ciulos Lamos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stanislao Kuparinen ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 57th minute, EL Ciulos Lamos's Dobromir Piechocki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 71st minute, KS Bukowe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Piotr Skrzypiec fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 76th minute, Franciszek Michna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to KS Bukowe getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marian Mondrowski hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Dobromir Piechocki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Dudek was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Jerzy Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Piechocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes KS Bukowe got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Walczyk. In the 92nd minute Gianluca Lapadula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dandung Garmana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over EL Ciulos Lamos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS Bukowe throughout the match.
