In the 3rd minute Fabian Czeszejko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Czeszejko's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Karol Fleischer scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladan Kovačević, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 13th minute of the match. Fabian Czeszejko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Boruc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 17th minute of the match. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 23rd minute of play forced MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Czeszejko scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Boruc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artur Boruc came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko. But to his dismay, Fabian Czeszejko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 29th minute Karol Fleischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladan Kovačević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Czeszejko came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Czeszejko in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Fabian Czeszejko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Boruc was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Olimpia HSB's Fernando Morientes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Boruc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Fabian Czeszejko came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Olimpia HSB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Czeszejko couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Czeszejko to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goalkeeper Artur Boruc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fabian Czeszejko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jacek Pietrowiak hit a great ball. Olimpia HSB's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
