The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Goral Zywiec's Andrzej Puchlik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrzej Puchlik ran back to his position shaking his head. Olaf Basinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Puchlik in the 17th minute of play. Goral Zywiec were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after WZG Sandomierz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Szymon Jaszyna took the corner. Goral Zywiec's Szymon Jaszyna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Olaf Basinski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The throw-in from Konstanty Gotfryd in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Goral Zywiec's Mariusz Zalipski. Andrzej Puchlik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. WZG Sandomierz's Olaf Basinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Puchlik in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, WZG Sandomierz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugon Czciborek to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Widodo 曹操 could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Michael Krawczyk however easily saved by the left post. In the 47th minute, Andrzej Puchlik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Andrzej Puchlik made the kick off in the second half. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Goral Zywiec booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Czciborek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, WZG Sandomierz's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Puchlik came free, but Olaf Basinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, WZG Sandomierz's Betão Ramos got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 93 played minutes WZG Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Wei Jun. In the 95thth minute of the game Gao Wei Fei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WZG Sandomierz's Olaf Basinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Goral Zywiec had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
