Christer Storli made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Preben Skogheim sent off a good shot on target. Preben Skogheims short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Christer Storli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the game, Verner Groven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kjellmyra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Breidablik the free kick. 26 minutes into the match, Breidablik's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Fimreite came free, but Christer Storli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Breidablik's goalkeeper Christer Storli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Preben Skogheim. Preben Skogheim kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bjørn Rømo to strike the kick off in the second half. Karsten Killi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bjørn Rømo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Breidablik booed when Kjellmyra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frode Furnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrik Hall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karsten Killi having to make a save. Henrik Hall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Karsten Killi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karsten Killi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Henrik Hall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Breidablik got a freekick which was hit by Hristofor Metodiev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Hall in the 82nd minute of play forced Kjellmyra's goalkeeper Karsten Killi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Kjellmyra's goalkeeper Karsten Killi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bjørn Rømo. Karsten Killi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjørn Rømo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Storli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Preben Skogheim in the 95th minute of the match. Breidablik's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
