Per Bauge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asle Minde in the 13th minute of the match. With 15 minutes on the clock, Joachim Jordal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 19 played minutes Kongsvinger IL got a freekick which was hit by Cai Finnesand. Per Bauge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Nedrebø in the 21st minute of the match. Frode Grimstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Per Bauge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asle Minde took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per Bauge. Per Bauge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludvig Minge during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kongsvinger IL booed when Dividal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Minge didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Dividal BF's Frode Grimstad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per Bauge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Per Bauge came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dividal BF's Frode Grimstad. But to his dismay, Frode Grimstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Per Bauge was a little too slow when Asle Minde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-7. Per Bauge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksander Nedrebø in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Kongsvinger IL's Jostein Åsebø got a free kick in the 59th minute. Markus Celius's late challenge caught a Kongsvinger IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Celius helped the player get up and apologised. Markus Celius kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Asle Minde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Bauge having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Markus Celius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Kongsvinger IL's Per Bauge got control of the ball when Aleksander Nedrebø tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stian Opstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristian Mjøs having to make a save. After 74 minutes, Niklas Furulund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dividal BF and the Kongsvinger IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Dividal BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Furulund to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Mjøs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Opstad in the 75th minute of play. Aleksander Nedrebø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Per Bauge made a huge save. Kongsvinger IL's Per Bauge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Kongsvinger IL from getting a goal against them. When Thor Rygg fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kongsvinger IL's protests and gave Thor Rygg a yellow card for diving instead. When the match was over Dividal BF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kongsvinger IL throughout the match.
