Holdensæter's Roy Forberg got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roy Forberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Konrad Høyland came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Holdensæter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Høyland couldn't finish the play. Bård Paulsen struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Helge Selvåg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holdensæter. In the 38th minute, Bård Paulsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Roy Forberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holdensæter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bård Paulsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bård Paulsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helge Selvåg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Bård Paulsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Helge Selvåg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Bård Paulsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some careless play in the The Dawgs defense, Bård Paulsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helge Selvåg. The The Dawgs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helge Selvåg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bård Paulsen in the 94th minute of play forced The Dawgs's goalkeeper Helge Selvåg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holdensæter were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after The Dawgs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nils-Johan Wang took the corner. Nils-Johan Wang made a great header on Holdensæter's corner, it was just that The Dawgs's Helge Selvåg managed to reach the ball for a save. Holdensæter walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
