After some careless play in the Black-united defense, Eric Lindanger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Nybø. The Black-united fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Nybø should have stopped the shot. Axel Tessem came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christoffer Rodal could save by the left post. In the 44th minute Preben Winsnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Rodal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Rånes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Christoffer Rodal made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krister Dalby made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Preben Winsnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black-united's supporters rose to their feet, but Preben Winsnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Rodal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Black-united's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
