Spectators: 7984 (Terracing: 5989, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) Thomas Larsen made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Eirik Fossan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurråsen's Birk Rudi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tømmeråsfjorden. Kenneth Eknes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Runar Myrhaug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Runar Myrhaug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai-Arne Træet in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Kurråsen booed when Tømmeråsfjorden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eirik Fossan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Verner Vestby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurråsen's Magne Joa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kai-Arne Træet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Verner Vestby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Magne Joa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magne Joa came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tømmeråsfjorden's Verner Vestby. But to his dismay, Verner Vestby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kenneth Eknes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Runar Myrhaug having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Verner Vestby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Larsen in the 39th minute of play forced Kurråsen's goalkeeper Magne Joa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kai-Arne Træet to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kurråsen's zone, Thomas Larsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Joa came out of the goal and Thomas Larsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurråsen's Magne Joa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Kurråsen from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Verner Vestby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magne Joa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Verner Vestby sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tømmeråsfjorden's Sivert Kapstad got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Tømmeråsfjorden defense, Kenneth Eknes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Runar Myrhaug. The Tømmeråsfjorden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Runar Myrhaug should have stopped the shot. Verner Vestby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Verner Vestbys short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Magne Joa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th match minute, Tømmeråsfjorden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Larsen to maneuver through the defense. Kurråsen's Svein Høiby pulled a muscle in his leg after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Torkel Jahr's late challenge caught a Kurråsen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torkel Jahr helped the player get up and apologised. Torkel Jahr hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Magne Joa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Larsen in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Larsen in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Joa saved Kurråsen from getting behind. Thomas Larsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Joa having to interfere. Verner Vestby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Kurråsen's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Larsen came free, but Magne Joa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tømmeråsfjorden's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
