Spectators: 7969 (Terracing: 5978, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kai-Arne Træet took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andreas Høyvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai-Arne Træet in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Tor-Andre Ottem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Eknes got free with Andreas Høyvik in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Aurstad in the 11th minute of play forced Kurråsen's goalkeeper Magne Joa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Kai-Arne Træet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Høyvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Karnes IL's Erland Aurstad in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kurråsen's goalie prevented a goal. Kurråsen's Magne Joa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jørn Abrahamsen in the 19th minute of play. Andreas Høyvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai-Arne Træet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kurråsen's Kenneth Eknes got a free kick in the 25th minute. Andreas Høyvik came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Kurråsen's Daniel Williams. But to his dismay, Daniel Williams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Andreas Høyvik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Eknes in the 33rd minute. Erland Aurstad succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Jørn Abrahamsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Magne Joa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erland Aurstad to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Arvid Lindstrøm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Magne Joa. That made the score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. Kai-Arne Træet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Høyvik having to interfere. With a little luck, Kurråsen's Magne Joa got control of the ball when Arvid Lindstrøm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erland Aurstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Magne Joa made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Kurråsen's goal looked a bit too open when Jørn Abrahamsen came free, but Magne Joa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Noah Blindheim fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurråsen's protests and gave Noah Blindheim a yellow card for diving instead. Noah Blindheim kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kurråsen's Magne Joa got control of the ball when Erland Aurstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Magne Joa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Lindstrøm, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Kenneth Eknes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Kurråsen's Kenneth Eknes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Høyvik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The supporters of Karnes IL booed when Kurråsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Eknes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Arvid Lindstrøm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Joa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Kurråsen's Magne Joa got control of the ball when Erland Aurstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karnes IL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
