Jon Svendsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to FK Grunnfjord getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Henning Grøterud hit a great ball. Jon Svendsen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fredrikstad FK's William Bekkevold shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. FK Grunnfjord's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when William Bekkevold scored to the left of an out of position Jon Svendsen, making the score, 3-0. FK Grunnfjord's Jon Svendsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Bekkevold in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fredrikstad FK's Stian Sætren got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Jon Svendsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tormod Bjørgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Raymond Stordal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Andre Bjerkestrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The Fredrikstad FK fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Fredrikstad FK's William Bekkevold looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. William Bekkevold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jon Svendsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finn-Christian Steinnes in the 39th minute of play forced Fredrikstad FK's goalkeeper Raymond Stordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Svendsen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stian Sætren. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Bekkevold to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, William Bekkevold put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jon Svendsen. In the 61st minute, William Bekkevold made a precise shot to the right of Jon Svendsen. FK Grunnfjord's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 65 played minutes, Fredrikstad FK's Stian Sætren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jon Svendsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fredrikstad FK reached it. In the 67thth minute of the game William Bekkevold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Grunnfjord's Jon Svendsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikolaj Kiepski took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jon Svendsen. Jon Svendsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. If Tormod Bjørgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Svendsen came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Fredrikstad FK's Mikolaj Kiepski. But to his dismay, Mikolaj Kiepski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Elias Saastad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Svendsen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Bekkevold in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Svendsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jon Svendsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Bekkevold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match Stian Sætren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon Svendsen skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, William Bekkevold put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jon Svendsen. After 97 played minutes, Fredrikstad FK's Stian Sætren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jon Svendsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fredrikstad FK reached it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fredrikstad FK had played much better football throughout.
