Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eilert Solsvik started the match with the kick off. Gustav Rognmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Erik Eiken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Storhamar Fotball's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erik Bjørnå fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 10 minutes into the match, Storhamar Fotball's goalkeeper Erik Eiken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustav Rognmo. Erik Bjørnå recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes Storhamar Fotball got a freekick which was hit by Øyvind Espe. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Bjørnå in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Eiken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tage Nordseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Storhamar Fotball booed when Oshaugen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Bjørnå didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oshaugen BK's Theodor Vaage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eilif Sagbakken in the 26th minute of play. Storhamar Fotball's Eilert Solsvik got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ask Berget kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Theodor Vaage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eilert Solsvik in the 31st minute of the match. Theodor Vaage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eilert Solsvik in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Oshaugen BK's Gustav Rognmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Eiken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tage Nordseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon-Erik Thoresen during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Erik Bjørnå managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oshaugen BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Bjørnå was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Oshaugen BK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ståle Norderhaug hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Edvin Nybråten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Øyvind Espe hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Erik Bjørnå left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oshaugen BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 62nd minute, Ask Berget hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Oshaugen BK got a freekick which was hit by Ask Berget. In the 72nd minute, Erik Bjørnå got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Gustav Rognmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oshaugen BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 83rd minute Erik Bjørnå shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Eiken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gustav Rognmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oshaugen BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Rognmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Eiken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Erik Bjørnå had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Eiken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Rognmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Eilert Solsvik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Theodor Vaage. The goal made the score 2-1. When Erik Bjørnå came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Oshaugen BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Bjørnå couldn't finish the play. Ivar Sandstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
