The audience was convinced that Ove Tøsse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torstein Hovden was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Estebe during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ku Kost IL booed when FC Lakrisal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Estebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Lakrisal getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Per-Kristian Koppang hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ku Kost IL's zone, Herrmann Körtge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torstein Hovden came out of the goal and Herrmann Körtge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Tøsse came free, but Torstein Hovden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Estebe got free with Torstein Hovden in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torstein Hovden didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ku Kost IL's zone, Ove Tøsse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torstein Hovden came out of the goal and Ove Tøsse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Herrmann Körtge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Torstein Hovden. That made the score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. Torstein Hovden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Tøsse, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Christian Høie made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Lakrisal's Ove Tøsse fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Constantino Estebe put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Torstein Hovden. Torstein Hovden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Tøsse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Casper Olsnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Høie was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With an all-out effort, Ku Kost IL's Ludvig Eklund threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Høie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Torstein Hovden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Estebe in the 74th minute of play. Torstein Hovden came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lakrisal's Herrmann Körtge. But to his dismay, Herrmann Körtge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ludvig Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Høie in the 81st minute of play. Torstein Hovden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ove Tøsse's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Sigve Sørland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th match minute, Ku Kost IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigve Sørland to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Ku Kost IL's Ludvig Eklund threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Høie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute of the match, Christian Høie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ludvig Eklund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Lakrisal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
