Arve Røstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Erik Isdal having to interfere. Hans-Erik Isdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Nordhagen in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute Christian Høie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Askvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Rossebø came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hans-Erik Isdal could save by the left post. Julian Askvik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 28th minute Roy Nordhagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Erik Isdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans-Erik Isdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Nordhagen in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Sigve Sørland notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC Gunners's Julian Askvik. Julian Askvik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hans-Erik Isdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arve Røstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goal looked a bit too open when Didrik Bjørkmo came free, but Hans-Erik Isdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Hans-Erik Isdal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 44th minute Sigve Sørland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Askvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Rossebø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Hans-Erik Isdal made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goalkeeper Hans-Erik Isdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Njærheim. Hans-Erik Isdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Nordhagen in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Ku Kost IL were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roy Nordhagen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Yngvar Fornes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ku Kost IL and the FC Gunners players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ku Kost IL! Kristian Aarskog placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Hans-Erik Isdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Nordhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Arve Røstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans-Erik Isdal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Nils Rossebø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Rossebø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Gunners booed when Ku Kost IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolai Leirdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Nordhagen came free, but Hans-Erik Isdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ku Kost IL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kristian Aarskog was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Gunners's players had a chance to rest. 75 minutes into the match, FC Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Høie came free, but Julian Askvik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, FC Gunners's goalkeeper Julian Askvik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casper Olsnes. Hans-Erik Isdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Nordhagen in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Gunners defense, Christian Høie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Askvik. The FC Gunners fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Askvik should have stopped the shot. Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Nordhagen in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jack Njærheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gunners's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Njærheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Erik Isdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans-Erik Isdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Nordhagen in the 88th minute of the match. Hans-Erik Isdal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arve Røstad went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. In the 98th minute, Arve Røstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Gunners supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ku Kost IL's performance. The match ended with a win for Ku Kost IL.
