The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Langen in the 2nd minute of play forced Viking Star Fighters's goalkeeper 余鹰骏 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eric Langen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugó Kozma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Dalheim having to interfere. 余鹰骏 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorbjørn Singstad in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Thorbjørn Singstad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MCFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viking Star Fighters the free kick. Thorbjørn Singstad kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Filip Meling got free with Erik Dalheim in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Eric Langen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 余鹰骏 was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Kasper Tonheim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MCFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viking Star Fighters the free kick. The tension between the Viking Star Fighters and the MCFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Viking Star Fighters's Theodor Røyrvik got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Eric Langen struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. 余鹰骏 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MCFC. 余鹰骏 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Egil Nerhus in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, MCFC's Erik Dalheim got control of the ball when Sebastian Vika tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 minutes MCFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tore Halse who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tore Halse almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MCFC's Erik Dalheim did a great save. Erik Dalheim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Vika in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute Theodor Røyrvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Dalheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Dagfinn Hannestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Jon-Egil Nerhus made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, MCFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Tonheim to maneuver through the defense. Erik Dalheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Hyska in the 58th minute of the match. The Viking Star Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. MCFC's Erik Dalheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Hyska in the 69th minute of play. Erik Dalheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Hyska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Dalheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Filip Meling, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, MCFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Hyska came free, but Erik Dalheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viking Star Fighters's Andrzej Hyska got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Theodor Røyrvik was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Theodor Røyrvik kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon-Egil Nerhus in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 余鹰骏 saved Viking Star Fighters from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Viking Star Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Egil Nerhus came free, but 余鹰骏 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Filip Meling during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Per-Filip Meling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MCFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Espen Hestad hit a great ball. Per-Filip Meling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viking Star Fighters walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
