Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jørund Hovde sped through Lokomotiv Såta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jim Slyngstad. Jørund Hovde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Jørund Hovde made a precise shot to the right of Jim Slyngstad. Lokomotiv Såta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jim Slyngstad came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by HanKan's Jørund Hovde. But to his dismay, Jørund Hovde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the game, Ronny á Borg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HanKan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiv Såta the free kick. After a rather tough play, HanKan's Ronny á Borg got a free kick in the 24th minute. Dan Stormo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Kim Pickard made a huge save. Elias Grønseth was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Såta's Elias Grønseth got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes, HanKan's Jørn Trones shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jim Slyngstad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HanKan reached it. When Jakob Mehus came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the HanKan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Mehus couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lokomotiv Såta's goalkeeper Jim Slyngstad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44thth minute of the game Jørund Hovde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lokomotiv Såta's Jim Slyngstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Stormo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jim Slyngstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jørund Hovde in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Ronny á Borg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jim Slyngstad. The goal made the score 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Trulsen in the 58th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Såta's goalkeeper Jim Slyngstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lokomotiv Såta's Jim Slyngstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Såta from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Per-Kristian Arneberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HanKan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Jørund Hovde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jørund Hovde took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Slyngstad. Jim Slyngstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 72 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Såta's Dan Stormo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim Pickard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jim Slyngstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørund Hovde, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 74 minutes, Kenneth Justad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Såta and the HanKan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of HanKan booed when Lokomotiv Såta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Justad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Såta's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Trulsen came free, but Jim Slyngstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Christoffer Trulsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Jim Slyngstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olof Ulset kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jakob Mehus managed to get in a good position for a shot. HanKan's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Mehus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Slyngstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Jørund Hovde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Slyngstad. Lokomotiv Såta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jørund Hovde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Jørund Hovde might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Slyngstad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jørund Hovde ran back to his position shaking his head. Jim Slyngstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jørund Hovde in the 95th minute. HanKan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
