Eik Tønsberg AllStars's supporters rose to their feet, but Gard Hilde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Børresen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Eik Tønsberg AllStars's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Tufte came free, but Thomas Olden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Sten Hård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Olden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Hård scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Olden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Olden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Tufte in the 14th minute of the match. Thomas Olden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Tufte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Tufte was the one to do the kick off. Mathias Tufte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Thomas Olden made a huge save. Jimmy Tufte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Thomas Olden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Olden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Tufte in the 53rd minute. Årås's Asbjørn Smeland managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Odin Wiik in the 56 minute of the game. Thomas Olden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Tufte, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Sten Hård received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Olden came out and tried to block the shot, but Sten Hård slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Eik Tønsberg AllStars's Thomas Olden got control of the ball when Mathias Tufte tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Tufte got free with Thomas Olden in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the game, Jimmy Tufte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomas Olden. Jimmy Tufte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Sten Hård took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Olden. Thomas Olden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Thanks to some nice moves Mathias Tufte could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Thomas Olden however easily saved by the left post. Eric Blomberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Olden came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Blomberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 75th minute. Jimmy Tufte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Thomas Olden made a huge save. With a little luck, Eik Tønsberg AllStars's Thomas Olden got control of the ball when Dan Aasberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Årås's Jimmy Tufte made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Olden was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Olden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Hård in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jimmy Tufte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Olden. That made the score 0-16 in the 91 minute of play. In the 94th minute, Bjarne Langhelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Årås's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
