Storm Kjeldsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Larsson having to interfere. Christer Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Sollie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21stth minute of the game Thor Sollie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bårjåsnjárgga's Christer Larsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Storm Kjeldsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Ivar Severinsen made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ulf-Hendrik Skjong sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Ivar Severinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Myr, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jan-Ivar Severinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Myr, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jan-Ivar Severinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf-Hendrik Skjong in the 44th minute of play. John-Edvin Jonsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Sannes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon-Inge Vea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The supporters of Bårjåsnjárgga booed when Sannes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon-Inge Vea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asgeir Phan charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asgeir Phan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Bårjåsnjárgga:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sannes:s goal. In the 99th minute of the match Terje Arntsen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Ivar Severinsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sannes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bårjåsnjárgga.
