Guttane's Christer Fiskvik got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torbjørn Halvorsrud might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bjørnar Kaasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjørn Halvorsrud ran back to his position shaking his head. Bjørnar Kaasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sander Bredal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bjørnar Kaasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjørn Halvorsrud, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Sander Bredal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bjørnar Kaasa made a huge save. After 86 played minutes Guttane got a freekick which was hit by Odd Sørdal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Nilssen in the 88th minute of play forced Gædd FK's goalkeeper Eskil Myhrvold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Gjøran Kvale. Torbjørn Halvorsrud scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bjørnar Kaasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gædd FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
