The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, FK Norefjell Viking's goalkeeper Hildeberto Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Nordeng. When Kai-Arne Rokne came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lost in pace fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kai-Arne Rokne couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kai-Arne Rokne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hildeberto Tinoco. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lost in pace's John Nordeng got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, one of FK Norefjell Viking:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Norefjell Viking. In the 25th minute, Lost in pace got a penalty, and Magne Granmo placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 32nd match minute, FK Norefjell Viking was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Flatmo to maneuver through the defense. Hildeberto Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kai-Arne Rokne in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Lost in pace defense, Phaiakes Bertsimas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kim Sørmo. The Lost in pace fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kim Sørmo should have stopped the shot. Linus Flatmo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kim Sørmo. Kim Sørmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Kristian Gunnestad hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Magne Granmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hildeberto Tinoco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Kim Sørmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Fyhn, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Lost in pace's Kim Sørmo got control of the ball when Sam-Lucas Raniers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Birger Fyhn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kim Sørmo came out and tried to block the shot, but Birger Fyhn slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Birger Fyhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Magne Granmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hildeberto Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hildeberto Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magne Granmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Kai-Arne Rokne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hildeberto Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Sylte during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Birger Sylte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Flatmo got free with Kim Sørmo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 minutes of play, Lost in pace's John Nordeng made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hildeberto Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, John Nordeng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Hildeberto Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
