Kai-Arne Rokne took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson Cardozo. Lenílson Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Joachim Follestad took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson Cardozo. Lenílson Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Lenílson Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai-Arne Rokne, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Brenne got free with Kim Sørmo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, John Nordeng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Lenílson Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lenílson Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai-Arne Rokne in the 40th minute of play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
