Arnstein Worren was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Wipes's goalie prevented a goal. Simen Sæbø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Stian Ekroll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ulf-Hendrik Birkeland fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Wipes's protests and gave Ulf-Hendrik Birkeland a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Byggda IL booed when AC Wipes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf-Hendrik Birkeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simen Sæbø hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Iver Kleven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mao Jun Xu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stian Ekroll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Bartnes in the 16th minute of play. Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jakob Bartnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 played minutes AC Wipes got a freekick which was hit by Ulf-Hendrik Birkeland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Bartnes in the 21st minute of play forced AC Wipes's goalkeeper Stian Ekroll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnstein Worren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dag Aarnes's late challenge caught a Byggda IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dag Aarnes helped the player get up and apologised. Jakob Bartnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnstein Worren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stian Ekroll having to interfere. Stian Ekroll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Bartnes's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Jakob Bartnes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stian Ekroll was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stian Ekroll narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Iver Kleven made the kick off in the second half. Tormod Kristiansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jakob Bartnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Wipes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Roar Gjelsvik scored to the left of an out of position Stian Ekroll, making the score, 0-1. If Jakob Bartnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 70th minute, Jakob Bartnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Byggda IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 73rd minute Jakob Bartnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Ekroll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Wipes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tormod Kristiansen was slow to take the kick. During this time Byggda IL's players had a chance to rest. After 77 minutes of play, Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stian Ekroll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnstein Worren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Stian Ekroll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Byggda IL's Jakob Bartnes got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jakob Bartnes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Stian Ekroll when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Hamre during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AC Wipes getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sebastian Hamre hit a great ball. Jakob Bartnes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Stian Ekroll when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arnstein Worren struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Stian Ekroll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Byggda IL. In the 98th match minute, AC Wipes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Hamre to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Jakob Bartnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Byggda IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Bartnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stian Ekroll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Byggda IL could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AC Wipes throughout the match.
