In the 4th match minute, Kirkenær BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarle Tverberg to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Kirkenær BF's goalkeeper Jonas Naustdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arty Benson. Kirkenær BF's Jonas Naustdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Muggerud in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Kåre Breistein made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Naustdal. Kirkenær BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Kåre Breisteins short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Jonas Naustdal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kåre Breistein received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Naustdal came out and tried to block the shot, but Kåre Breistein slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Jonas Naustdal came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Kåsmolia's Kåre Breistein. But to his dismay, Kåre Breistein quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Lars Nekstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Farstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kåre Breistein during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kåsmolia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kåre Breistein hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rune Muggerud kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Naustdal. That made the score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. The supporters of Kåsmolia booed when Kirkenær BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Storm Furu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Arty Benson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonas Naustdal, passed just outside the right post. Lars Nekstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Storm Furu in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Farstad made a kick off. Øyvind Sletten struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jonas Naustdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kåsmolia. Raimundas Genčiauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Naustdal having to interfere. Arty Benson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Rune Muggerud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Naustdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Farstad in the 72nd minute of play forced Kåsmolia's goalkeeper Lars Nekstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Raimundas Genčiauskas notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Kirkenær BF's Jonas Naustdal. Jonas Naustdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jo Reitan's late challenge caught a Kåsmolia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jo Reitan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Kirkenær BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Reitan to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Kirkenær BF's Storm Furu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lars Nekstad. That made the score 5-1 after 83 minutes of play. Raimundas Genčiauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jonas Naustdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jarle Tverberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kirkenær BF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kåsmolia.
