Theo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Berntzen in the 35th minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper William Sommerseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Berntzen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Sommerseth having to make a save. Emil Berntzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but William Sommerseth made a huge save. Sagene IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Emil Berntzen scored to the left of an out of position William Sommerseth, making the score, 1-0. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After having played for 47 minutes, Pedro Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Λstral Villains FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Berntzen to make the kick off.
