In the 18th match minute, Kåsmolia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Sommerseth to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, team pollen's Inge Børseth broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Kåsmolia's goalkeeper Lars Nekstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Nejat Özsungur. Ali Nejat Özsungurs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Lars Nekstad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute team pollen were awarded a corner. Inge Børseth went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kåsmolia's goalie and right to Fredrik Aalvik. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kåsmolia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lars Nekstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Yttervik got free with Lars Nekstad in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Jonatan Dorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Nekstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Nekstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nejat Özsungur, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Lars Nekstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Yttervik in the 43rd minute of play. Durvalino Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Breistein in the 44th minute of play. Eskil Stenberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Nejat Özsungur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ali Nejat Özsungur took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Nekstad. Lars Nekstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 61st minute Harald Hjorth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Nekstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kåsmolia's zone, Jonatan Dorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Nekstad came out of the goal and Jonatan Dorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Nekstad saved Kåsmolia from getting behind. A collision led to team pollen getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Albert Yttervik hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Fredrik Aalvik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Nekstad skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Nekstad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When team pollen's Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kåsmolia's goalie prevented a goal.
