With a little luck, POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim got control of the ball when Jonathan Løvland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harald Hopp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimas Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Gard Bredesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Hopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Løvland took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Revheim. Thomas Revheim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The corner led Bakarvågen's Henning Jahr to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Revheim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Hernes in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Bakarvågen's goal looked a bit too open when Gard Bredesen came free, but Harald Hopp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to POPODARA F.C getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lasse Ngo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Gard Bredesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Hopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ådne Svensen hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lasse Ngo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Christoffer Hernes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Revheim was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The referee ignored POPODARA F.C's protests and gave Peter Lang a yellow card for diving instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Løvland to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mathias Brynildsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Løvland in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Revheim saved POPODARA F.C from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Dimas Amaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harald Hopp was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Christoffer Hernes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Harald Hopp managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when POPODARA F.C's Gard Bredesen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Hernes in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute Bakarvågen were awarded a corner. Henning Jahr went to the cornerflag to take it. POPODARA F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kristian Turøy in the 92nd minute. Henning Jahr kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bakarvågen had won after a very even match.
