Spectators: 10871 (Terracing: 8154, Seating: 2500, VIP seats: 217) Isaac Asimov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Odd-Eirik Kronstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Oftedal in the 6th minute of play. When Isaac Asimov came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Vebbestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Asimov couldn't finish the play. Jan-Ove Springfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Asimov in the 15th minute of play. Odd-Eirik Kronstad made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Torjus Fjellheim sent off a good shot on target. Odd-Eirik Kronstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torjus Fjellheim in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torjus Fjellheim in the 18th minute of play forced Vebbestad's goalkeeper Odd-Eirik Kronstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Isaac Asimov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Springfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odd-Eirik Kronstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocky Ryland in the 27th minute of the match. The Suleskard fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Suleskard's Rocky Ryland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Vebbestad's Odd-Eirik Kronstad got control of the ball when Lars Oftedal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Egil Sollien in the 33rd minute of play forced Suleskard's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Springfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Oftedal kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Kristian Neteland hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Isaac Asimov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suleskard's Jan-Ove Springfält was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vebbestad were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Suleskard's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tor-Egil Sollien took the corner. Vebbestad's Tor-Egil Sollien was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan-Ove Springfält in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 41 minutes into the match, Suleskard's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Asimov came free, but Jan-Ove Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odd-Eirik Kronstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocky Ryland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Vebbestad's goalkeeper Odd-Eirik Kronstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Oftedal. When Kristian Neteland fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suleskard's protests and gave Kristian Neteland a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Ryland in the 47th minute of play forced Vebbestad's goalkeeper Odd-Eirik Kronstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Oftedal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Lars Oftedal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Odd-Eirik Kronstad. Vebbestad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Oftedal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Odd-Eirik Kronstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocky Ryland in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Torjus Fjellheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odd-Eirik Kronstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torjus Fjellheim struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Odd-Eirik Kronstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suleskard. Vebbestad's Cent Husabø was substituted for Bengt-Arne Chaadaev. Suleskard's Jan-Ove Springfält proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Suleskard from getting a goal against them. Vebbestad's Odd-Eirik Kronstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torjus Fjellheim in the 69th minute of play. Jan-Ove Springfält made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Asimov in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Suleskard's Jan-Ove Springfält got control of the ball when Isaac Asimov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Odd-Eirik Kronstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Oftedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Vebbestad defense, Lars Oftedal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Odd-Eirik Kronstad. The Vebbestad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Odd-Eirik Kronstad should have stopped the shot. Suleskard made a substitution. Alf Nøttveit replaced Torjus Fjellheim. In the 87th minute, Steffen Bergerud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Asimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Suleskard's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
