Spectators: 10908 (Terracing: 8200, Seating: 2490, VIP seats: 218) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Halvard Knutsen started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luis Bonet sped through Kjønstad BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fred Bonk. Fred Bonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Bonet, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Halvard Knutsen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jo Øverås. The goal made the score 1-1. After 23 played minutes Kjønstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Halvard Knutsen. Rasmus Moland charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasmus Moland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Kjønstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Moland. If Mats Bentsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Daustad's Luis Bonet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Bonk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fred Bonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luis Bonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eskil Tande made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lars Gausdal. After a defensive mix-up in Kjønstad BF's zone, Luis Bonet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Bonk came out of the goal and Luis Bonet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Bonet to strike the kick off in the second half. Fred Bonk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Bonet in the 51st minute. Kjønstad BF's Fred Bonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bonet in the 54th minute of play. Daustad were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Kjønstad BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mieszko Pilsudski took the corner. Daustad's Mieszko Pilsudski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fred Bonk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fred Bonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Pelle Anundsson in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kjønstad BF's Rasmus Moland. Mats Bentsen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fred Bonk firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Bonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daustad were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Kjønstad BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mieszko Pilsudski took the corner. Mats Bentsen took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Bonk. Fred Bonk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 86th minute, Luis Bonet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daustad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Jo Øverås stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Alsvik's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Daustad's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
