Bart Nyemanting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliks Prosowski in the 14th minute. Vladimír Ondroušek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoon de Zee in the 15th minute of the match. Ferdi Niemeyer kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Druisdijk's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Ooijer came free, but Bart Nyemanting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Ooijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Druisdijk's goalkeeper Bart Nyemanting had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliks Prosowski. During the 34th minute of the match Joop Onrust completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joop Onrust a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 34th minute, Joop Onrust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacques de Nooijer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, one of FC Titmouse:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Druisdijk. Fred Savenije stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vladimír Ondroušek. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoon de Zee in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimír Ondroušek saved FC Titmouse from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Antoon de Zee made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil de Swart in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimír Ondroušek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimír Ondroušek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil de Swart, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Feliks Prosowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bart Nyemanting. Druisdijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliks Prosowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Druisdijk booed when FC Titmouse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joost Driessens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Savenije succeeded in the game's 70th minute to get real power on a long shot . FC Titmouse's Vladimír Ondroušek hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-2! A collision led to FC Titmouse getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Joost Driessens hit a great ball. Feliks Prosowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bart Nyemanting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Harry van Heiningen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bart Nyemanting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Prosowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Federico Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Vladimír Ondroušek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 87th minute, Dick Ooijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred Savenije hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Titmouse's Dick Ooijer tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes, FC Titmouse's Federico Abechuco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bart Nyemanting came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Titmouse reached it. After a rather tough play, Druisdijk's Douwe Barendregt got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Antoon de Zee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Druisdijk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
