Martijn Geerts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Co Velthuis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 43 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Co Velthuis notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Sporting Skoekeloen's Martijn Geerts. Martijn Geerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Martijn Geerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Hilhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Martijn Geerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Hilhorst in the 87th minute of the match.
