Chris Veltman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mickael Wisgerhof. Keinseman VV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Unit5's goal looked a bit too open when Brain Hulshof came free, but Cláudio Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Keinseman VV's Lex Onrust nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Muslera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Keinseman VV succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Unit5 had controlled the match.
