Gapinge SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Deijnen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henk Dussel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Gapinge SC defense, Gerald Geraets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Nijsse. The Gapinge SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Nijsse should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Caliamera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Co Kuys came free, but Henk Dussel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk Dussel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Co Kuys in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Caliamera FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berend Groten made a kick off. Gregor Huisman kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Henk Dussel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Deijnen in the 89th minute of the match. Co Kuys scored 2-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henk Dussel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caliamera FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
