Henk van Rhijn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wim Kauffeld scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henk van Rhijn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes GYM got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Baalen. Giovanni Schaars hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Eintracht Schultenbräu's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Kauffeld came free, but Henk van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk van Rhijn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Kauffeld's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Henk van Rhijn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Robbermond, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Wim Kauffeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eintracht Schultenbräu's Henk van Rhijn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Eintracht Schultenbräu's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Schaars came free, but Henk van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Adriaan Dijkstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henk van Rhijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Kauffeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirk-Jan Temen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk van Rhijn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Schultenbräu's Ni Wei got a free kick in the 36th minute. Henk van Rhijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Schaars in the 43rd minute of play. Henk van Rhijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Kauffeld in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Ralph Robbermond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Henk van Rhijn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wim Kauffeld was the one to do the kick off. Henk van Rhijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Kauffeld in the 52nd minute of play. Henk van Rhijn made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Wim Kauffeld sent off a good shot on target. Ricky Bulder struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Henk van Rhijn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GYM. The supporters of GYM booed when Eintracht Schultenbräu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tjeerd Zoetmulder didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Michel Lucius in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Eintracht Schultenbräu's Adriaan Dijkstra. Henny Huizinga charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henny Huizinga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Henny Huizinga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Wim Kauffeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk van Rhijn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wim Kauffeld in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henk van Rhijn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 minutes of play, GYM's Wim Kauffeld made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henk van Rhijn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wim Kauffeld who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Henk van Rhijn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, GYM's Stefan Baalen got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Giovanni Schaars had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henk van Rhijn. Eintracht Schultenbräu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanni Schaars was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Wim Kauffeld scored 0-7 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henk van Rhijn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henk van Rhijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Ruiter in the 85th minute of play. GYM were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Eintracht Schultenbräu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dirk-Jan Temen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dirk-Jan Temen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henk van Rhijn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Eintracht Schultenbräu's Henk van Rhijn got control of the ball when Wim Kauffeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ralph Robbermond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Henk van Rhijn managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when GYM's Giovanni Schaars fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Giovanni Schaars who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Henk van Rhijn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over GYM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Eintracht Schultenbräu throughout the match.
