Spectators: 7989 (Terracing: 5993, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) Arjen Bos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Chiel Dagelet took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rik Stekelenburg to make any attempt to save it. After 10 played minutes Arkantos Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Chiel Dagelet. Arjen Bos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Laurens Kromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Richard Achterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Gilbert van der Gun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ruitenberg FC's Kristian de Boer got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 31st match minute, Ruitenberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roeland Duinhoven to maneuver through the defense. Ruitenberg FC's Rik Stekelenburg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ruitenberg FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Mathieu van den Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruitenberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathieu van den Berg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurens Kromme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Chiel Dagelet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Stekelenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arjen Bos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurens Kromme having to interfere. Arjen Bos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Laurens Kromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Mathieu van den Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruitenberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathieu van den Berg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Chiel Dagelet sped through Ruitenberg FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rik Stekelenburg. Arjen Bos took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurens Kromme. Laurens Kromme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Arkantos Arsenal's zone, Arjen Bos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurens Kromme came out of the goal and Arjen Bos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 minutes, Jordi Zielman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruitenberg FC and the Arkantos Arsenal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilbert van der Gun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ruitenberg FC's Richard Achterberg got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Raymond Hartogh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rik Stekelenburg. Ruitenberg FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arkantos Arsenal's Robert Staarman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jordi Zielman, made in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Ruitenberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert van der Gun came free, but Rik Stekelenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiel Dagelet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik Stekelenburg having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Kristian de Boer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Arkantos Arsenal were victorious despite being under pressure from Ruitenberg FC for much of the match.
