An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Ijspol in the 27th minute of play forced Blerick's goalkeeper Klaas Jan Berends to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gijs Schaap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilco Windmuller hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Blerick's Klaas Jan Berends got control of the ball when Gijs Schaap tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Ijspol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijs Schaap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Ijspol was the one to do the kick off. Klaas Jan Berends showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Ijspol in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Wilco Windmuller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Helwig kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Gijs Schaap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pannerden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blerick the free kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pannerden had played much better football throughout.
