Spectators: 8033 (Terracing: 6025, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henny Sparnaaij took the kick off in the first half of the match. Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Maciel in the 4th minute of play. Stephan Wielens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henny Sparnaaij in the 8th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Heiko Willems was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Horsterboeren SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spoorakker BV the free kick. In the 9th match minute, De Horsterboeren SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Willems to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Ronde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stephan Wielens. De Horsterboeren SV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, De Horsterboeren SV's goal looked a bit too open when Henny Sparnaaij came free, but Stephan Wielens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joris Zoetmulder was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, one of De Horsterboeren SV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Spoorakker BV. Oscar Ronde stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stephan Wielens. 1-1. Gido Höhenstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Theuws having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geert Sloothaak during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, De Horsterboeren SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geert Sloothaak to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes Spoorakker BV got a freekick which was hit by Remond Bender. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vicente Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Horsterboeren SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Theuws breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Spoorakker BV from getting a goal against them. With his leg Robin Theuws managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when De Horsterboeren SV's Gido Höhenstein fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alessandro Barchiesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Robin Theuws tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Oscar Ronde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spoorakker BV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Ronde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robin Theuws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Maciel in the 46th minute of the match. Robin Theuws came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by De Horsterboeren SV's Heiko Willems. But to his dismay, Heiko Willems quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gido Höhenstein made a kick off. If Gido Höhenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ralf van der Tol fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spoorakker BV's protests and gave Ralf van der Tol a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Horsterboeren SV booed when Spoorakker BV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf van der Tol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Spoorakker BV got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Verhoeven. In the 63rd minute Gido Höhenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Theuws saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Spoorakker BV getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Harris Zondervan hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Spoorakker BV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf van der Tol to maneuver through the defense. Gido Höhenstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Theuws having to interfere. Henk Kruit was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. Heiko Willems shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Robin Theuws didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Maciel went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Robin Theuws stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gido Höhenstein's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 91 minutes into the game, De Horsterboeren SV's Gido Höhenstein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Theuws made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gido Höhenstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Horsterboeren SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Gido Höhenstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the referee ended the match the De Horsterboeren SV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
