Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mark Borker took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Hugo van Harten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the volibears and the Ascoli Picchio F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s Mathieu Schophuis was substituted for Benjamin Jol. In the 6th match minute, volibears was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo van Harten to maneuver through the defense. In the 10thth minute of the game Maximilian Viklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s Ademar Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno de Jong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordi Zuidam's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When volibears's Maximilian Viklund in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maximilian Viklund scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diderik Pepping in the 25th minute of play forced Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s goalkeeper Ademar Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. volibears's Bruno de Jong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save volibears from getting a goal against them. Ademar Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Borker, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacob van der Valk came free, but Ademar Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno de Jong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordi Zuidam in the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Jordi Zuidam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno de Jong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Emile Hadders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, volibears's Diderik Pepping sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ademar Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmond Péquignot hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, volibears's goalkeeper Bruno de Jong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Waterreus. Mathieu Schophuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno de Jong having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, volibears's Maximilian Viklund got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute, Jordi Zuidam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54thth minute of the game Mark Waterreus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but volibears's Bruno de Jong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Waterreus in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno de Jong saved volibears from getting behind. Edmond Péquignot charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmond Péquignot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edmond Péquignot kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Maximilian Viklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ademar Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Borker in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Queirós saved Ascoli Picchio F.C. from getting behind. Mark Borker might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademar Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mark Borker ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno de Jong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Zuidam in the 67th minute of play. Bruno de Jong came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s Mark Waterreus. But to his dismay, Mark Waterreus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 72nd minute, Jacob van der Valk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jordi Zuidam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bruno de Jong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wouter Staarman fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s protests and gave Wouter Staarman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s Wouter Staarman got a free kick in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordi Zuidam in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno de Jong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mark Waterreus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the game, one of volibears:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 96 minutes into the match, Ascoli Picchio F.C.'s goalkeeper Ademar Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximilian Viklund. Ascoli Picchio F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of volibears for a fine match.
