The corner led Snits United Reloaded's Brain Das to fire away a dangerous shot which Mike Zoetmulder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 12 played minutes Snits United Reloaded got a freekick which was hit by Jim Wolf. Domenik van Someren made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mathias de Ruijter sent off a good shot on target. Stijn Boswijk scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mike Zoetmulder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Mathias de Ruijter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domenik van Someren was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Snits United Reloaded's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kurt Ginneken 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. De Pelgrims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias de Ruijter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Snits United Reloaded's Domenik van Someren got control of the ball when Kurt Ginneken tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match, Mike van Zeijl tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domenik van Someren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29th minute Henk Cardinaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenik van Someren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domenik van Someren made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Kurt Ginneken sent off a good shot on target. Snits United Reloaded's Domenik van Someren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike van Zeijl in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Stijn Boswijk came free, but Mike Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Freek van de Meerakker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Snits United Reloaded defense, Kurt Ginneken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domenik van Someren. The Snits United Reloaded fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domenik van Someren should have stopped the shot. Mike Zoetmulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stijn Boswijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stijn Boswijk in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
