Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's Flavius Pantea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregor Rinzema narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Pantea in the 23rd minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Gregor Rinzema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhao Xiang Xuan got free with Matthijs Meerdink in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matthijs Meerdink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Co Fuchs in the 27th minute of play. Matthijs Meerdink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Xiang Xuan in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the FC Kirchroa defense, Co Fuchs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthijs Meerdink. The FC Kirchroa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthijs Meerdink should have stopped the shot. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Gregor Rinzema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Pantea in the 39th minute of play. The throw-in from Mart Verweijen in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Kirchroa's Olof Hegg. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavius Pantea made a kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Kirchroa got a freekick which was hit by Joep Jochemsen. Matthijs Meerdink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Xiang Xuan in the 52nd minute of the match. The referee gave FC Kirchroa a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Flavius Pantea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of De Digitale Dribbelaars's Gregor Rinzema. 1-1. In the 60th minute Zhao Xiang Xuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthijs Meerdink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Gregor Rinzema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Pantea in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes, Mart Verweijen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Digitale Dribbelaars and the FC Kirchroa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Mart Verweijen got a free kick in the 65th minute. Gregor Rinzema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Pantea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Wisniewski came free, but Matthijs Meerdink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Pantea in the 76th minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Gregor Rinzema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. De Digitale Dribbelaars made a substitution. Roderick Zoetebier replaced Severo Jobo. FC Kirchroa's Leontin Tănase managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Han Xiang Ang in the 79 minute of the game. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Gregor Rinzema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Pantea in the 86th minute of play. Flavius Pantea scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregor Rinzema, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gregor Rinzema was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emil Akkerman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. Gregor Rinzema was a little too slow when Flavius Pantea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-4. The FC Kirchroa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Kirchroa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
