In the 12th match minute, Dukaton f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Cordera to maneuver through the defense. Foeke Wisgerhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niek Kiewit had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Jochem Rijkaard's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball After 44 minutes of play, Dukaton f.c.'s Jochem Rijkaard made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niek Kiewit was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Bueno was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Foeke Wisgerhof had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Bueno. Justo Lore took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niek Kiewit. Niek Kiewit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 56 minutes, Jorn Krommert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Overschie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorn Krommert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Lore in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niek Kiewit saved Overschie from getting behind. Foeke Wisgerhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorn Krommert in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Roger Bueno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Foeke Wisgerhof. That made the score 2-1 in the 65 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dukaton f.c.'s Ciriaco Cordera got a free kick in the 69th minute. Overschie's Anton Schepers got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Dukaton f.c.'s Foeke Wisgerhof got control of the ball when Jorn Krommert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Foeke Wisgerhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Dukaton f.c. booed when Overschie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruud Koning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Lore charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Lore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Dukaton f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Justo Lore. The Dukaton f.c. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
